Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with diced onion and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
In a large mixing bowl, combine hash browns, cooked beef mixture, soups, sour cream, cheese (reserving 1 cup), and seasonings. Mix well.
Transfer the mixture into the prepared casserole dish. Spread evenly. Top with reserved cheese and crispy fried onions.
Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbling.
Let sit for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
Feel free to add chopped vegetables, swap the soups, or adjust the cheese type to suit your taste. Great for freezing and meal prep.
