strawberry cake mix

vegetable oil

powdered sugar

Instructions
Combine cake mix, eggs, oil, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Add food coloring if desired and stir until a dough forms.
Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes to firm up.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Coat each ball thoroughly in powdered sugar.
Place dough balls 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10–12 minutes until the tops crack.
Cool cookies on the tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For an extra pop, roll in granulated sugar before powdered sugar. Store in an airtight container up to 5 days, or freeze for longer storage.
